Help with RSS News Feeds
Stay up to date through our news feed, located at http://symposiumc6.com/feed/.
What’s this?
You can stay up to date with the Symposium C6 website by subscribing to our RSS news feed. As soon as new information, videos, or other content is placed on the site, you’ll receive an update notice — without having to come to the site, or have your email inbox overwhelmed.
How can I do this?
An RSS feed is just a special URL to a web page formatted for computers to use. In general, you’ll need to use a web browser compatible with RSS feeds, an RSS Feed Reader application, or a configurable “home page” like Google’s Customized Search or My Yahoo. If you use those services and receive updates from other news media websites, you’re already using RSS feeds!
Macintosh users
Safari allows you to view RSS feeds easily. To the right of the URL, you’ll see a blue RSS box. Clicking on that box reveals the RSS page. By bookmarking this, Safari will show you how many new articles have posted to the site since your last visit.
Windows users
Internet Explorer 7 has a feed reader built in. Other browsers, including Firefox, handle feeds natively. You can also use a dedicated application to handle news feeds. “NewsGator” is a popular option.
